Third Public Report of the Information Special Forces Association: “Public Diplomacy and Hybrid War”

The presentation of the Third Public Report of the Information Special Forces Association, titled Public Diplomacy and Hybrid War, took place on December 12, 2018 at 18.00 in Gostiny Dvor (109012, Moscow, Ilyinka St., 4) .

Since the beginning of the 21st century, public diplomacy has increasingly become the subject of the study of social sciences, but there are very few scientific works on public diplomacy from the point of view of the science of international relations.

Today, there is every reason to talk about a radical aggravation of the geopolitical and geo-economic situation in the world. The consequence of this was the increased danger of the spread of instability on the territory of Russia, primarily through the use of hybrid war technologies (misinformation, terrorism, etc.).

The peculiarity of the Third Report was that among the authors there are representatives not only of the CIS countries, but also of a country that has never been in the Soviet political space — Finland.
